NBP STUDIO UPDATE

COVID 19

With the Coronavirus on all of our minds, I wanted to reach out personally to clients, especially those who have a scheduled sessions in the upcoming months. Here at NBP your health and safety has always been my highest priority. I want you all to be aware that I am closely tracking COVID 19 and monitoring updates from the CDC, state and local governments.

The NBP Studio will be implementing additional Health and Safety regulations in the Studio during sessions.

Studio Will Remain Open until Further Notice

As of right now, NBP studio is still performing business as usual. I have always had a strict ‘No Sick’ policy in the studio and due to recent events will be regulating much more stringently.

For now, I will only be taking on Newborns, babies and Maternity Sessions. All Family and sibling sessions have been postponed until further notice.

There are a number of things that we can all do to keep our families safe and healthy.

What the Studio will Be Doing

*Although my policy has always been to clean and disinfect surfaces after every session, the studio was closed down last week for a thorough overhaul. As a precaution, all high touch surfaces have been disinfected and cleaned, including doorknobs, bathrooms, faucets and mirrors etc. All props have been wiped down with alcohol, every blanket and wrap has been washed. Going forward, this will also occur after every session.

*Studio has provided antibacterial soap and had sanitizer, and asks that all clients wash hands prior to sessions starting.

*The Studio has limited its access to ONE Studio Session per day to maintain the opportunity for thorough cleaning after each session.

*ONLY DIRECT family members will be allowed in the studio during sessions.

*To prevent high traffic, all back to back Mini Sessions have been cancelled until further notice. No Spring Sessions this year.

* All props, wraps, accessories, clothing and anything used during the session are cleaned, washed and sanitized after every session.

*All surfaces are wiped down with antibacterial cleaner before and after each session (including all door knobs, light switches, tables, chairs, bathroom, faucets and anything the may have been touched during the session) from the entrance to throughout the studio.

How you can Help!

*Please continue to wash hands and use hand sanitizer

*All clients will be required to wash hands upon entering the studio. Please leave your shoes at the door.

*IF you or your family members show ANY symptoms of sickness, please contact me so that we can reschedule your session. It is better to be safe than sorry.

*For those clients attending longer Newborn Sessions, please bring a plastic bag to take all trash home with you. This includes snack trash, empty drink bottles and diapers.

*I have a firm ‘No Sick’ Policy – It is very important that my studio be germ free so please do not bring anyone to the studio that is sick-especially the baby! The session will be cancelled and your session fee forfeited if anyone present is sick.

How I can Help!

*My Husband and I are extremely health conscious. Thankfully we both work from home, and have decided to limit any outings unless deemed extremely necessary.

*Stringently washing hands and using hand sanitizer before and during sessions

*Thoroughly cleaning studio, door knobs, props and accessories as mentioned above.

*I will also be wearing a surgical face mask during sessions purely as precaution and extra comfort for parents.

I know this is a worrying time for all of us. Lets do everything we can to keep our loved ones safe and happy.
